Dr. Randall Freed
Dr. Randall Freed has been a long time member of the Cedar Mill community. He attended Barnes Elementary, Meadow Park Junior High, and Sunset High School. He graduated from Oregon State University, and then was accepted at University of Oregon Dental School, now Oregon Health Sciences University. His DMD degree was awarded in 1976 with high honors. After graduation he was accepted into a General Practice residency in Baltimore, Maryland with the U.S. Public Health Service. His love of the Northwest and interest in settling into a private practice brought him back to Cedar Mill where Cornell Family Dental was established in 1978. His continued involvement in the community has included election to the Local School Committees at Oak Hills Elementary and Meadow Park Junior High Schools as well as being a member of the Project Advisory Committee for the Cornell and Barnes Road Improvement Project. Professionally, Dr. Freed has served a s President of the Washington County Dental Society, Trustee to the Oregon Dental Association as well as numerous other volunteer positions. He is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry and has earned Fellowship status. Dr. Freed has made continuing education a priority throughout his career and has participated in a variety of study clubs and courses. Dr. Freed has made a commitment to stay abreast and embrace the latest of what dental technology has to offer. His treatment rooms are equipped with computer monitors, digital radiography, and multimedia patient entertainment systems.

Even though his dental practice is forward thinking, he still adheres to the time-tested, traditional values that make this community so wonderful. His commitment to honest, sincere communication and exceptional, quality dental treatment for every member of the family is vital to his mission. From the very beginning, this dental practice has also worked to make a difference in our community. To that end, Dr. Freed has been part of the Donated Dental Services program since 1989, which provides dental care for disabled, elderly and mentally compromised patients. In recent years he has volunteered at the Celebration of Smiles Event sponsored by OHSU.

Dr. Freed is married to his high school sweetheart and has three adult children, all of whom are married. The oldest daughter, Lindsay, is currently enrolled in dental school at OHSU. He is an avid sportsman and particularly enjoys fly fishing, tennis and golf.
