Meet Our Doctor - Dr. Randall N. Freed
Dr. Randall Freed started Cornell Family Dental in 1978 where he calls home—Cedar Mill. He chose private practice after completing his general practice residency with the U.S. Public Health Service in Baltimore, Maryland—the only place he has resided outside of his home area. Dr. Freed earned his DMDdegree with high honors from the University of Oregon Dental School (now Oregon Health & Science University) in 1976, and graduated from Oregon State University, Sunset High, Meadow Park Junior High and Barnes Elementary.
Dr. Freed has served as a Washington County Dental Society president, Oregon Dental Association trustee, volunteer for many other industry organizations and Academy of General Dentistry member with fellowship status. He has also partaken in the Donated Dental Services Program since 1989, providing dental care for disabled, elderly and mentally compromised patients. Further, he prioritizes continuing education, regularly participating in a wide variety of study clubs and courses. Serving the local community, Dr. Freed has been elected to local school and project advisory committees.
Personally, Dr. Freed is married to his high school sweetheart and has three married adult children. His oldest daughter, Lindsay, is a practicing dentist. He is an avid sportsman, particularly enjoying fly fishing.
